As fall officially rolls in, Christian music continues to bring fresh voice and worship to the scene. This month has brought new albums, live projects, and singles from some of your favorite artists:

Phil Wickham — Song Of The Saints

  • Album: Phil Wickham released his new studio album Song Of The Saints on September 12, 2025.
  • Singles and Previews: Before the full project dropped, he released the title track “Song Of The Saints,” and earlier singles like “The King Is In The Room,” “What An Awesome God,” and “Homesick for Heaven.”
  • Artist Reflection: Wickham said about the lead single, “This song is full of bold declarations about who God is and who we are in Him … I’ve had the chance to lead ‘Song Of The Saints’ … with the church, and every time, there’s this sense of confidence and reverence that fills the room.”
  • Touring: He has announced a “Song Of The Saints Tour” for Spring 2026, saying, “these nights are not about a show or a concert, but about the people of God shouting the praises of God in the presence of God.”

LO Worship — Songs for the Anxious Heart (Live)

  • Album: LO Worship released Songs for the Anxious Heart on September 19, 2025. It’s their first full-length live album.
  • Recorded: Captured live at The Hub in Monroe, Louisiana.
  • Themes: The album addresses grief, anxiety, worry, etc.—songs borne out of personal experience. It includes testimony songs and pastoral moments led by Sadie Robertson Huff.
  • Notable tracks: It includes a collaboration with Aodhán King on “The Perfect Love of Jesus.” Also, the title track “Song for the Anxious Heart” was written with Matt Redman; Redman suggested it would make a strong album title when they were writing together.

Zach Williams — Jesus Loves

  • AlbumJesus Loves, a 12-track album released September 19, 2025.
  • Recent Single: “Hated” released August 22, 2025 — the fourth single ahead of the full album. It deals with the tension of faith in a world where followers of Christ are sometimes misunderstood or marginalized.
  • Other Pre-Released Songs: Earlier tracks like “Jesus Loves,” “Killed A Man,” and “Friend in High Places” have already given fans a preview.

Ellie Holcomb — Far Country

  • AlbumFar Country dropped on September 12, 2025.
  • About: It’s her fourth full-length studio album. The collection is rooted in themes of grief, longing, and the steadfast love of God — exploring the tension between beauty and brokenness.
  • Sound & Style: The album leans gently toward folk-pop; it offers spiritual yearning with Holcomb’s signature warmth.

Matt Hammitt — “Days God Gave”

  • Single: “Days God Gave” was released on September 12, 2025.
  • Themes & Message: The song is a reflection on how precious each moment is — family car rides, late-night talks, and the “sweet little snapshots” of life. It’s meant to serve as a reminder not to let the days slip away.
  • Lyrics Insight: Hammitt says, “The line that has always moved me most in this song is the one about being old and gray, looking back through a lifetime of memories … each day we live now shapes what that moment will look like.”

Forrest Frank — Child of God II (Back to Back) Deluxe

  • Album & Deluxe Edition: Forrest Frank’s Child of God II (Back to Back) Deluxe was released September 5, 2025.
  • What’s New: The deluxe version adds additional tracks to his earlier 2025 Child of God II album, bringing together 26 tracks total. Among the new additions are “The Rock” (with Crowder), “Lemonade” (with The Figs), “Selah,” and “God’s Got My Back.”
  • Context: Some of the new material was inspired by a serious skateboarding injury that resulted in multiple back fractures. The injury and recovery process influenced his writing and new songs.

Megan Woods — “I Believe You (Strings Version)”

  • Single“I Believe You (Strings Version)” came out September 19, 2025.
  • What’s Different: This version adds string arrangements to the original, giving a more emotional, orchestral depth. Woods said in social media: “The strings added such a depth and emotion…

Tauren Wells — “Fight Like Heaven”

  • Single: Released September 19, 2025. The exact date appears to coincide with fan demand.
  • Artist Statement / Theme: Wells says, “We don’t fight like the world fights. We fight like Heaven fights — with love, with truth, with hope.”

Jackie Hill Perry — Blameless

  • AlbumBlameless, her latest full-length project with Reach Records, dropped September 19, 2025.
  • Track Count / Details: 15 tracks; approximately 39 minutes, 50 seconds runtime.
  • Features: Includes guest appearances from nobigdyl., KB, Aha Gazelle, Project Pat, Ahjah Walls, Scootie Wop, Madison Ryann Ward, Trey Heflin.
  • Artist’s Message: Perry said: “Even in the years I wasn’t releasing projects, I was still writing, growing, and allowing God to refine my voice; both creatively and spiritually. Blameless is the sound of that process. It’s messy, joyful, honest, and unapologetically rooted in truth.”

There are so many more where this came from, we’ve barely even scratched the surface for September! If you’d like a more extensive list of all the new releases this month, make sure to check out our friends at www.newreleasetoday.com.
